Every year Marie Curie Cancer care run a Ladies Driving Challenge, each Lady has to raise funds for the charity and then they getto drive a range of non everyday vehicles.
These range from Fire Engines, Diggers, Lorries and 4x4's and that is where we come in, we provide our own vehicles for the ladies to drive around a pre-determined course, nothing to extreme, but enough to get a few screams!!
How can you help?
By volunteering your car and yourself for a day, we can camp overnight or you can drive down on the morning (you need to be there for 9am) you then sit in the passenger seat, give some basic instruction and off they go! easy as that.
What do you get from it?
Apart from the free lunch, you will get a commerative polo shirt to worn with pride, and the knowledge that you have helped raised a very large sum of money for a very deserving charity.
What do I do now?
Call or email Sam Valman (see the contact us page) and register you interest, if you do put your name down please make sure you do turn up, this is a very prestigous event for the club and our sport so we cannot let anyone down.
